The ideal candidate will oversee the product lifecycle from concept to market, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and regulatory requirements. The Product Manager will be responsible for defining product vision, managing the design and manufacturing process, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, and working cross-functionally to deliver a successful product. Additionally, they will monitor market trends, analyze competitive products, and implement strategies to maintain a competitive edge. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet customer needs and achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Product Development and Strategy
  • Lead the development of our LFA concussion tests, from initial concept through market launch, including product design and manufacturing, Quality Control, Distribution and Logistics, Risk Management, and more.
  • Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Market and Customer Insights
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive products.
  • Gather and prioritize customer requirements to inform product development.
  • Analyze feedback from users, clinical partners, and stakeholders to continuously improve the product.
Regulatory and Compliance
  • Ensure product development complies with relevant regulatory requirements, including FDA and HIPAA guidelines.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with clinical operations to integrate product development with clinical trials and studies.
  • Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.
  • Facilitate communication between teams to align on goals and ensure a cohesive approach to product development.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track product performance metrics and user feedback post-launch.
  • Analyze data to measure product success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Present regular updates and reports to senior management on product status, market performance, and strategic recommendations.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including clinical partners, customers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners to support product development and market expansion.
Experience and Qualifications:
Required
  • Proven experience managing a fast-growing MedTech product.
  • Experience with overseeing product development and manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including FDA guidelines, for medical devices.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
Preferred
  • Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Business).
  • Innovative thinking regarding product R&D.
  • Experience with rapid diagnostic tests or similar medical devices.

The ideal candidate will work closely with our founder/CEO and team to maintain financial health, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and managing payroll. The Part-Time Accountant will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls, supporting tax preparation, and assisting with financial planning and analysis. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Financial Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bookkeeping.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Budgeting and Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

They will build and maintain relationships with clinical partners, oversee the collection and reporting of clinical data, and ensure legal compliance. This role involves working closely with research, regulatory, and legal partners to facilitate smooth clinical operations and drive the successful commercialization of our products.
Responsibilities:
Clinical Studies Management
  • Establish and manage clinical studies, including designing protocols, obtaining approvals, and overseeing trial execution.
  • Develop and manage clinical prototypes, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare, review, and manage protocols and consent forms in compliance with regulatory standards.
FDA Integration and Compliance
  • Ensure all clinical activities comply with FDA regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare and submit documentation required for FDA approval, including managing interactions with FDA representatives.
Clinical Relationships
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clinical settings, including Emergency Rooms (ERs), Institutional Review Boards (IRBs), and sample collection sites.

Statistics and Data Management
